Fired from job, what should I put down on new job application?

I worked for a trucking company for the past 4 years. I got hurt about 12 weeks ago on the job, collected worker's comp for 8 weeks. I was back on the job for 4 short weeks and then last week was suspended and fired(within the same week). During my suspension I applied for a few jobs. The reason for my firing, I think, was mostly because of the injury but the reason I was fired now was because they were getting phone calls from other companies and wanted to get rid of me before I got rid of them. Now I have to find a job while not having one and after getting fired. My question- Do I tell potential employers that I was fired and for the reasons that I have articulated here? That I got hurt and they wanted me out the door? Should I have someone call as an employer to see what they say about me?
