GOOD GUY, BAD BREATH!!! WHAT TO DO?!?

I have recently, met the most wonderful man. He is kind, good looking, attentive... just an overall great guy. I'm actually, attracted, to this man, physically, and mentally.... BUT, his BREATH stinks! I don't know WHAT to do. It's not an unbearable, stench, but, yet and still, it's not good. When you get in his car, and the windows, are rolled up, you can smell his breath, in the car. It makes me REALLY, not want to kiss him. He told me, that I seem like I really don't want to kiss him. He's right; but I don't feel right saying, "Yeah... because, your breath stinks...." I think he knows, it does though, he's always popping mints, (to no avail....) What should I do!?
