Help, I'm very confused?

So if a cut is counted as a wound because it bleeds, does this mean a is a wound? It bleeds every month, should I get it stitched up? Or just use bandages on it? I'm confused and worried, I don't wanna bleed out, it started bleeding 3 months ago
