What can happen to me I wrote 2 bad checks to myself.....?

I had a car problem and wrote 2 bad checks to myself, I thought I was going to have my paycheck in the account at the time they would go through but I didn't. The checks were for $150 each. My account is now negative $471 and I opened a new account at Wamu so that when i get my paycheck I will have money, I called my old bank and told them I intend to pay the debt back in installments, if the agreed to let me pay back can they still press charges? I also have 2 other accounts at 2 different banks that are overdrawn for a total of $800 and I called them today and they are with collection agencies who I called to make arrangements. I am just SO afraid of going to jail. I know what I did was wrong and I am making every effort to pay back everyone with payment plans. What can happen to me?
