Does anyone with Crohn's Disease gotten along fine living with strictures or fistulas?

Son has had Crohn's for 7 years. Only one bout when he got off his regime. Lives with no symptoms and no food restrictions except dairy products. Also no medications. May not work for everyone but it can't hurt. 1. Find and read "Bacteria for Breakfast" by Dr. Kelly Karpa. 2. Get on a probiotic diet, I recommend VSL#3 but it can be from any reputable company (60% of probiotic products don't have anything in them--yogurt ain't gunna do it. 3. Read every thing you can about MAP (Micro Avium Parataberculosis. The US medical system is light years behind the rest of the world in connecting the dots between MAP and a genetic propensity for Crohn's (85% of Crohn's patients are infected with MAP) MAP is known to create Crohn's (called Jonnies Disease in cattle--ask a rancher). It goes through the pasturization process in dairy products. I have no respect for the drug compnaies in America--they love your disease and want you to have it forever so they can sell expensive marginally effective products. Good luck
