Is it true about Penecostals and "the tongues"?

Is it true that most (or, some) Pentecostals believe that if you do not speak in tongues (i.e., "baptized in the Holy Spirit") that you are not truly saved? Especially if you are Pentecostal, tell me your congregation's interpretation of Acts 1:8; 2:1 - 15 and 1 Corinthians 14: 2 - 5. Thanks.
